De Kelders, just before Gansbaai, is renowned for its association with Great White sharks. The lodge features six en suite bedrooms and two single rooms, accommodating up to 14 guests. Double rooms offer ocean views, private balconies, ideal for whale-watching and sundowners.
The Great White Shark capital of the world, Gansbaai is also known as the Big-2 Town – named after the Great White Sharks that dominate the west-eastern side of Gansbaai and the Southern Right Whales that play around the western side around July – December.

The house has six (6) en suite bedrooms opening to a private balcony overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean. Plus 2 single rooms with easy access to the house. Thus can accommodate 14 guests. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and features local names. Enjoy a sundowner on the balconies while enjoying De Kelder’s spectacular sunsets. You might also be able to watch the whales play right in front of you in the Atlantic Ocean.
